Channel Your Inner Bob Ross

That’s right, on the 4th of April you are all invited to release your inner happy little clouds as we will spend the afternoon painting! Come follow a Bob Ross tutorial, paint a still life or just paint whatever you want and enjoy the wonderful act of creating. We will make sure that there’s paint and paper and all you have to do is make sure you’re not wearing your most fancy outfit. Let’s get creative, and mostly, let’s have fun!

Send in your Short Story!

The third edition of the Angler will be all about LGBTQ+ and inclusion. You’re invited to write a short story of around a 1000 words and send it to them, so that they can publish their favourite story in the upcoming issue! It would be nice if the theme is incorporated in some way, but they do accept short stories that do not have elements of LGBTQ+ and/or inclusion in them. Feeling inspired? Send your stories to anglereditor@gmail.com, and you might see yours in print!
> The deadline for sending in your short story is the 24th of March!

A Walk in the Park

As the mid-terms are coming near and you may or may not be spending all your hours in the UB, you should not forget that it’s important to take breaks from studying and to take care of yourself. With this activity, your self-care will be a walk in the park! That is, we are literally going for a walk in the park. Join us on this stroll through the Leidse Hout park and for some hot chocolate in a cafe afterwards. Reward yourself with this healthy study break!
